Saint-Amand Hainaut Basket is a French women’s basketball club founded in May 2008 and based in Saint-Amand-les-Eaux. The club is the result of the merger of US Valenciennes and Union Saint-Amand Porte du Hainaut. After a season in the Women’s Basketball League, the highest level in the French championship, the club was demoted to Nationale 1 due to financial problems and took the name UHB Saint-Amand following the withdrawal of Valenciennes.
